From Abroad

Hold Your Own Personal Fundraiser

Our supporters and volunteers from all over the world have raised thousands of dollars for our program within their own families and communities. Supporting education is a powerful way to help and we’ve made it easy to set up a simple but powerful online fundraiser.

Our website enables us to fundraise internally without having to give away large amounts of money to third party platforms. Donations come directly to Kulen Outreach. Within minutes, our team can create a fundraiser specifically for you to share with your family and friends through email or social media.

Tomato War

In 2016, our cofounder Philip Mactaggart hosted the very first Millbrook Tomato War in an effort to raise funds for Kulen Outreach. Inspired by the famous Spanish tradition La Tomatina in Valencian Bruñol, he generously hosts adults and kids every year to enjoy a wonderful afternoon making a happy mess of themselves. The event was such a great success that it quickly developed into an annual happening, expanding with each edition.

Our Tomato War is organized annually in September and takes place in Millbrook, New York. A peaceful, lush green property transforms into a war zone for a day, hosting a diverse army of Tomato Warriors. Armed to the teeth with overripe tomatoes, they compete in the Children’s Tomato War or the Adult’s Tomato War in a ‘Capture the Flag’ style battle. Afterwards they make peace over a delicious lunch, evaluating the battle and congratulating the winners.

Always dreamed about being a Tomato Warrior? Join our annual Tomato War in Millbrook, New York or click below to find out more about this wonderful and fun event.
