$90/day for transportation in an a/c sports utility vehicle. The vehicle can hold a maximum of 6 people. Motorbike transportation is $7/person. This includes a driver and guide to and from the schools.
While we don't require it, we ask our visitors to donate whatever they can to the schools. We fund our program through donations from volunteers and visitors. Any help is greatly appreciated. Please see our donations section to better understand how your donations help our program.
Many people enjoy swimming at the base of Phnom Kulen’s large waterfall. Please bring your swimming suit if you intend to cool off in the water. There is a restaurant we recommend to eat at when on the mountain. You can also bring a bag lunch if you prefer. There is also a large reclining buddha located in the village pagoda.
Each trip to Phnom Kulen is supervised by a member of our team fluent in both English and Khmer. A staff member will also be present at all times while volunteers are at our school in Siem Reap.
